Bridal Veil Falls, Highlands, NC

It’s amazing how we live so close to some of the most beautiful places, but rarely stop and visit. We are an hour drive from Highlands, NC and I have only been through the town once in my 39 years. That one time was in the middle of the night on our way back from my Brevard. However, during our leaf-looking adventures, we did head out towards Highlands and along the way, stopped to check out Bridal Veil Falls.Bridal Veil Falls, Highlands, NC

Bridal Veil Falls is the only waterfall in North Carolina that you can drive behind! When we went behind he, we opened the sun-roof of the car so the boys could look up at it and they thought it was soo cool. The car gets a tad wet, but no water came in at all.

This 45-foot waterfall is located in the Nantahala National Forest and doesn’t have a large volume of water, which is why it’s safe and fun to drive Bridal Veil Fall, Highlands, NC
