GoLite Shangri-La 3 Compared to Big Agnes Yahmonite 5
We have had the GoLite Shangri-La 3 for approx. 3 years and the time has come to upgrade to a bigger tent. Our youngest is now ready to hit the trails and it’s not very comfortable putting four people into a 3 person tent. Our Christmas gift to ourselves was the Big Agnes Yahmonite 5. It arrived a couple of days ago and given the beautiful weather we are having in North Carolina, we were itching to put the two up side by side to see the difference.
With having been pleased with the GoLite Shangri-La 3 it was basically a no-brainer to go with the Big Agnes when it came to sizing up. There are a few features that are different, but all in all I think we’re going to be pretty pleased with it. As you can see there is a very noticeable difference and the boys are pretty excited to be able to give it a try.
